Hong Kong's Central Library

Posted 1 year ago by tika in response to vanessa's question: Can you name me a comprehensive library in Hong Kong? (give a different answer) .

Take the tram to Causeway Rd. You will find the Central Library at no. 66. You can't miss it, it's a 12-levels weird architectural hybrid built in at least 4 different styles: neoclassical, postmodern, with yellow tiles, Greek columns and Roman pediment. Anyway, the library is both a research and a lending library, offering over 1.2 million volumes and 24 public- access computer terminals where you can browse the web.
